Each staff member is highly skilled, OSHA certified, and maintains the "Smile by Sims" standard of excellence. They also know the importance of making the orthodontic treatment experience fun and efficient. The staff stays current with the latest technologies through continuing education courses.
Becky Tanner, Communications Coordinator
Becky is our communications coordinator and has been with the practice since 2002. She enjoys meeting and greeting all of the patients as they come and go. In addition to her administrative role, she has also been an orthodontic assistant and is able to assist you with any concerns or problems you may have when you call our office. She is very approachable, and welcomes any concerns you may have regarding appointment scheduling. Becky lives in Sand Springs with her daughter and husband, where they are currently youth pastors at their church. In her spare time she enjoys activities with her family and the youth group, photography, and watching her daughter play softball. Becky and her husband are devoted fans of the University of Oklahoma football. |

Cindy Scott, Treatment Coordinator
Cindy is our treatment coordinator and has been with the practice since 1995. She has years of experience in customer relations and works well with people from all backgrounds. Her primary goal is to make the first visit as enjoyable and informative as possible. She strives to make every patient smile, and goes above and beyond to ensure that all new patients have a clear understanding of the value of orthodontic treatment. Cindy loves working in a practice where the latest technology and equipment is used to provide excellent results for our patients. She was born and raised in the Tulsa area and currently resides in Sand Springs with her husband and two dogs. In her spare time she enjoys going to the lake and riding her sportster. |

Donna Larsen, Financial Coordinator
Donna is our financial coordinator and has been with the practice since 1998. She enjoys working with patients and parents with their financial needs for their orthodontic treatment. Over the years she has had the opportunity to see the dramatic impact a beautiful smile can have on a patient's self-confidence and self-esteem. Donna moved to Tulsa from Wisconsin and currently lives here with her husband. In her spare time she enjoys volunteering for local organizations, scrapbooking, sewing, and other crafts. |

Crystal Knight, Patient Manager
Crystal is a patient manager and has been with the practice since 2005. Crystal finds interacting with patients one of the most satisfying aspects of her position. She finds helping Dr. Sims create beautiful smiles everyday very gratifying. She has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. If you need someone to make you smile, she's the one to do it. She is truly the life of the office. Crystal was born and raised in Nowata and currently lives in Broken Arrow with her husband and 2 children. In her spare time she enjoys coaching her son T-ball team and watching her daughter compete in cheering competitions. Her family is very active in church. |

Kristy Horner, Patient Manager/Clinical Coordinator
Kristy is our clinical coordinator/ patient manager and has been with the practice since 2003. She oversees the treatment area and makes sure things run as smoothly as possible. She is devoted to providing high quality orthodontic treatment in a professional and friendly manner. Patient comfort is of utmost importance to her. She is very entertaining and loves to see every patient leave with a smile. Kristy lives in Tulsa and in her spare time she enjoys shopping, going to the lake and spending time with friends and family.

Maria Morales, Patient Manager
Maria is a patient manager and has been with the practice since 2005. She enjoys meeting people from every walk of life and profession. She is bi-lingual and is able to meet the communication needs of our Spanish speaking patients. The minute patients meet her, they understand why she is such an important part of our team. Her favorite aspect of orthodontic assisting is the "smile transformation" created on a daily basis. Maria is from Puerto Rico but moved to Tulsa with her son in 1995. In her spare time she enjoys riding motorcycles, walks with her dog, shopping, visiting her sister, spending time with her boyfriend and attending church. |

Theta McGoffin, Lab Supervisor
Theta is our lab supervisor and has been with the practice since 1970. "Dr. Sims is easy to work for", hence one reason she remains a vital part of our team. She is a great listener and one to go to for advice. She has many years of experience in the orthodontic field. Theta fabricates many of the appliances (expanders, holding arches etc.) used in our practice. She has excellent technical skills and works hard to ensure that all of our appliances are handcrafted to the highest standards. |

Margaret Michalopulos, Professional Relations Coorinator
Margaret is our public relations coordinator and has been with the practice since 2004. She keeps the dentists in our community informed on what is going on at Sims Orthodontics. She finds it exciting and challenging to help with the growth and success of the practice. She is committed to keeping Sims Orthodontics one of Tulsa's best orthodontic providers. Having exceptional staff members that she considers good friends is an added bonus. Margaret is a native Texan who came to her senses and moved to the great state of Oklahoma in 1983. She currently lives in Tulsa with her husband and 2 sons (who were both patients of Dr. Sims). In her spare time she enjoys bike riding along the river, traveling, and going to antique stores. |
